Rockridge Toastmasters, chartered in July1997, is located in Oakland, CA. We are a lively, diverse, friendly club within Toastmasters International, a non-profit, educational organization founded in 1924. Rockridge Toastmasters is open to the public and is comprised of members from a variety of backgrounds, professions, and speaking levels. Guests are always welcome at meetings.

Most people join a Toastmasters club with personal or professional goals. Rockridge Toastmasters uses a self-directed approach with foremost consideration given to whatever pace and goals you want to establish. Our mission is to help members become better communicators and leaders through the development of speaking, listening, and leadership skills. These goals are pursued through members participating in public speaking, giving constructive feedback, mentoring new members and actively being involved in club leadership.

We meet every Tuesday, from 7-8 pm. We are currently meeting in a hybrid format with members and guests joining in person meetings near Lake Merritt in Oakland and online. Our weekly meetings are fun and entertaining, as well as educational. Please join us as a guest soon!
